About CPSX
The Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration (CPSX) is an interdisciplinary program at Western University in London, Ontario, dedicated to excellence in research and training in planetary science and exploration. The Centre hosts Canada's only graduate program in planetary science and has a vibrant public education and outreach program. CPSX is home to the largest collection of graduate students and faculty in planetary science in Canada, with over 45 faculty and 40 graduate students from 11 different departments across campus, and a growing number of alumni. We provide national leadership by running short courses, workshops, and field trips at the post-secondary level. We also coordinate the Canadian Lunar Research Network (CLRN), the Canadian node of the NASA Solar System Exploration and Research Virtual Institute, and the Canadian Astrobiology Network, the Canadian node of the NASA Astrobiology Institute.
