Interactive Mapping of Mars

More Information

Interactive Mapping of Mars (IMARS) is an immersive learning program developed by the Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration at Western University. The goals of the program are to offer youth, students and adults the opportunity to learn about the processes that shape the surface of Mars, and to experience the thrill of planetary exploration and discovery!

The Google Earth interface provides users access to publicly available image datasets from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and European Space Agency (ESA) missions at Mars. The Google Earth browser plug-in and its JavaScript API utilized by IMAPs are offered for free by Google.
